Invitation: “European Funds: Management, Control and Accountability” conference on 21-22 June 2021
The European Court of Auditors and the Portuguese Court of Auditors are pleased to invite you to a joint conference - "European Funds: Management, Control and Accountability" - taking place on 21 and 22 June.
The conference will focus on the priorities and challenges underlying the new EU multiannual financial framework (MFF) and the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), the climate transition and the digital future, the effect of the pandemic on the sustainability of public finances, as well as governance and control models. Participants include Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the President of the Portuguese Republic; António Costa, the Portuguese Prime Minister; and European Commissioner Elisa Ferreira. Opening and closing remarks will be made by the co-organisers of this conference: the President of the Portuguese Court of Auditors, José Tavares, and the President of the European Court of Auditors, Klaus-Heiner Lehne.
