European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis visits the ECA
Valdis Dombrovskis, the European Commission Vice-President responsible for the Euro and Social Dialogue, visited the European Court of Auditors (ECA) today and was welcomed by ECA President Klaus-Heiner Lehne.
He also met with ECA Members Mihails Kozlovs, from the ECA chamber responsible for auditing the EU's finance and administration, to discuss the ECA’s audit work in the field of financial and economic governance, and Rimantas Šadžius, from the ECA chamber responsible for auditing the regulation of the EU's markets and competitive economy, to exchange views regarding the planned performance audit of the EIOPA, the agency responsible for supervising the EU’s insurance and occupational pensions sectors, which is among ECA’s priority audit tasks.
