Van der Steen new coordinator EuParl.net

In May 2013, Dr. Margit van der Steen started to work as the new EuParl.net coordinator.  She obtained her PhD at Leiden University and was lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in Leiden. Her thesis dealt with the life of the Dutch socialist, sociologist and feminist Dr. Hilda Verwey-Jonker (1908-2004). Furthermore, Margit van der Steen has extensive experience in and coordinating European (scientific) organisations.

Amongst others, she participated in Dutch (governmental) delegations to the EU, the Council of Europe and the General Assembly of the UN.

Margit van der Steen will combine this job with the position of (part time) coordinator of the Dutch Flemish Research School for Political History.
