Declaration by the High Representative on behalf of the European Union on the alignment of certain third countries with the Council Decision 2012/150/CFSP amending Council Decision 2011/872/CFSP updating the list of persons, groups and entities subject to articles 2, 3 and 4 of Common Position 2001/931/CFSP on the application of specific measures to combat terrorism

On 13 March 2012, the Council adopted Decision 2012/150/CFSP1. The Council Decision amends the lists of persons and entities as set out in Annex to Council Decision 2011/872/CFSP.

The Acceding Country Croatia*, the Candidate Countries the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia*, Montenegro*, and Serbia*, the Country of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidate Albania, and the EFTA country Liechtenstein, member of the European Economic Area, as well as the Republic of Moldova, Azerbaijan and Georgia, align themselves with this Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
