Verklaring voorzitterschap over aanslag op Poolse ambassadeur in Bagdad (en)

The EU Presidency would like to express its solidarity to Poland following the yesterday's attack on the Polish diplomatic convoy in Baghdad which resulted in the killing of two people and the wounding of Ambassador HE Edward Pietrzyk, who represents the EU Presidency in Bagdad.
The EU Presidency condemns in the strongest terms this attack and is confident that this further destabilisation attempt will not undermine EU's determination to support and assist Iraq nor weaken the Iraqi people's resolve to take a firm stand against violence.
